Ingredients

3 pounds lean ground beef

1 cup very cold water (this helps steam the beef while grilling)

salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

24 small dinner rolls (I like the small potato rolls)

ketchup

mustard

pickle slices

chopped onion

FOR THE SPICY SAUCE:

4 tablespoons butter

4 green onions, minced

2 teaspoons curry powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

3 tablespoons white vinegar

1 1/2 cups ketchup

2/3 cup tomato juice

2 teaspoons dried tarragon

1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

For the sauce, in a saucepan, melt butter. Saute green onions for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in curry powder and chili powder. Cook stirring, for 3 minutes over medium heat.

Add vinegar, ketchup, tomato juice, tarragon, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer over low heat 20 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Combine ground beef, cold water, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Using a 2 ounce ice cream scoop, portion out beef and shape into patties.

Grill 3 minutes on one side. Turn and grill for 2 to 3 minutes.

Serve on rolls with ketchup, mustard, pickle slices and spicy sauce.

These sound really good. When I saw sliders at first I thought oyster sliders and I don't like oysters that way, but than I thought lets take a closer look at the recipe and clicked. Boy I'm glad that I did! I can't wait to try these.
