Perfect Fruit Salad

This is an all time favorite at holiday gatherings or carry-ins. The only problem I have with this is there are never any leftovers.This recipe needs to be made 1 day before serving. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks, beaten shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. water shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. white vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped shopping list
- 3 cups minature marshmallows shopping list
- 1 cup halved red grapes shopping list
- 1 cup halved green grapes shopping list
- 1 can (20-oz.) p[ineapple tidbits, drained shopping list
- 1 can (11-oz.) mandarin oranges, drained shopping list
- 1 jar (10-oz.) red maraschino cherries, drained & sliced shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- In a large saucepan, combine egg yolks, water, vinegar and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and reaches 160 degrees.
- Remove from heat and cool; fold in whipped cream.
- In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
- Add dressing; toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
