Cranberry Ketchup Recipe

Ingredients

1 Can (16oz) Jellied Cranberry Sauce

3/4 Cup Sugar

1/4 Cup White Vinegar

2 teaspoons Ground Ginger

1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

1/8 teaspoon Gound Allspice

1 Tablespoon Flour

2 Tablespoons Hot Water

Directions

In a large heavy saucepan,combine first 7 ingredients over medium heat.

Bring to a boil.

In a small bowl,stir flour and wate together to make a paste.

Add flour paste to cranberry mixture,stirring very well until mixture thickens.(make just to blend well)

Remove from heat.

Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight to allow flovors to blend.

Store in an airtight container in regrigerator.

Serve with meat or cream cheese and crackers

Makes: About 2-1/2 cups of ketchup
