Garlic Chicken And Broccoli Pasta

- 1 1/2 lb. chicken breasts, sliced thin shopping list
- 2 tsp. olive oil shopping list
- 4 oz. dry orecchiette or penne pasta, cooked according to package directions shopping list
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 4 Tablespoons salted butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced garlic shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 1/3 cup broccoli florets shopping list
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt shopping list
- Salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- Shredded parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Season chicken with Italian seasoning and garlic salt.
- Cook chicken and garlic in the olive oil till lightly browned.
- Stir in mushrooms and green onions and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in chicken broth and broccoli and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat to a low simmer and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. stirring occasionally.
- Mix flour with water until well blended.
- Pour flour mixture into chicken sauce and continue to cook while stirring until sauce thickens.
- Slowly add butter,sour cream and whipping cream.
- Continue to cook over low heat for a few minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions, Drain, and add to sauce.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese. and serve.
