Mocha Ice Cream Pie Recipe
MOCHA ICE CREAM PIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Quinn Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups coffee ice cream softened
  • 1 prepared chocolate crumb pie crust
  • 12 ounce jar caramel ice cream topping divided
  • 2 cups chocolate ice cream softened
  • 2 cups thawed frozen whipped topping
  • 14 ounce toffee bar chopped

Directions
  1. Spread coffee ice cream in bottom of pie crust then freeze 10 minutes.
  2. Spread half of caramel topping over coffee ice cream.
  3. Spread chocolate ice cream over caramel then freeze 10 minutes.
  4. Spread remaining caramel topping over chocolate ice cream.
  5. Spoon whipped topping into pastry bag fitted with star decorating tip.
  6. Pipe rosettes on top of pie or just spread topping over pie.
  7. Sprinkle toffee over topping then freeze overnight.
  8. Remove from freezer and allow pie to stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.
