Old-fashioned Baltimore! Festivals in Baltimore serve these refreshing, traditional treats in the spring and summer. Kind of like a portable fresh and minty lemonade. So simple. Kids AND adults adore them....I certainly do.

Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 1 Red Bird peppermint stick - this is a porous peppermint stick, not hard like a candy cane
Directions
- Roll the lemon well and then slice the top off just so the pulp shows. Cut an "X" into the pulp and insert peppermint stick into it.
- Use the peppermint stick as a straw to suck the lemon juice through. Squeeze the lemon to get more juice through the stick - if the peppermint stick melts before the lemon juice is gone, get another stick!
- Really fun for a picnic!
