Strawberry Stuffed French Toast Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat Oven 450*
  • Spray Baking dish with pam or whatever cooking spray And set Aside
  • In shallow pie plate or large shallow soup bowl beat egg whites till frothy.... add zest and cinnamon stir well. Lay 1 slice of bread into egg mixture coating both sides well and place in sprayed baking dish. Repeat for second slice and drizzle any remaining egg mixture over top of slices. Bake 6 minutes flip over and continue to bake another 6 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Meanwhile prepare berries as directed thawing etc. Remove french toast from oven and spread 1 tbsp cream cheese over top of each piece. Spoon strawberries over top of one slice reserving some for the Top. Cover with other piece as if making a sandwich. Top with rest of strawberries Slice diagonally.... spoon Mixed berries around the french toast and drizzle top of French Toast with the Maple Syrup. Serve and enjoy
