This is THE BEST dish to bring to a holiday dinner or party. It can be served as a side or with desert. The red and white colors make it especially appropriate for Christmas. It has a great tart flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1 bag (1lb) fresh cranberries
  • 5 oz can crushed pineapple (STRAINED very well)
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 c mini marshmallows
  • cool whip (regular size tub)
  • 1 pomegranate

Directions
  1. Food process bag of cranberries
  2. Strain pineapple very well
  3. mix cranberries, pineapple, marshmallows, sugar, 1/2 of the cool whip and a "hand full" of pomegranate seeds together in a bowl.
  4. Place mixture in clean glass bowl. Top with remainder of cool whip and sprinkle some pomegranate seeds on top to decorate.
