This recipe is my duplication of a dish I had in a Chinese restaurant awhile back. It's really good, and REALLY simple!! This is great served over rice, with Egg Foo Yong, or Cheesy Seafood Bake. (Recipes coming soon)

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup raw Shrimp (with tail and shell left on)
  • 1/4 cup Green Peppers (sliced) (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Onion (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup Green Onion/Scallion (optional, but recommended)
  • 1-2 drops Sesame Oil (optional)
  • 1-2 TB Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)

Directions
  1. Directions:
  2. Heat Olive Oil in a small/medium fry pan, over medium heat.
  3. Once hot, add shrimp, onions and peppers.
  4. (Do not add Green Onions at this point.)
  5. After 2-3 minutes, begin turning th shrimp, to allow the shrimp to cook evenly.
  6. Let cook for another 3-5 minutes, turning shrimp, pepper and onions a couple times.
  7. Add green onion.
  8. Now, add a couple drops of sesame oil, mix together.
  9. Now, add enough salt and pepper to lightly coat the top.
  10. Let cook for about 5 minutes.
  11. Turn the heat to high, cook for 1 1/2-2 minute, turning/mixing often -being careful not to let the shrimp stick to the pan.
  12. Remove from heat, and serve!
