Zippy Coctail Meat Balls Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb ground chuck

1 beaten egg

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/2 cup chili sauce

3/4 cup grape jelly

Directions

Mix the meat, egg, salt, pepper and bread crumbs. Shape into coctail-size meatballs.

Brown these in a skillet. Drain the fat.

To the pan add the remaining ingredients and simmer to blend flavors and finish cooking meatballs.

I like to serve these in a heated dish with tootpicks or serving spoon.

Hi Deb, I make a very similar recipe - no bread crumbs, 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning, 1 tsp. garlic powder and 3 Tbsp. of grate parmesan to the meat mixture - sauce is the same! Love this!
