How to make it

  • Fry the chopped steak until brown, remove from pan.
  • Fry onion until golden brown, along with mushrooms, sliced peppers etc, whatever you fancy
  • Return steak to pan along with tinned tomatoes, red wine vinegar and dried sage.
  • Cook for 20 - 25 mins, until reduced and steak is cooked.
  • Stir flour into yoghurt, and add to pan until dish reaches required consistency and colour.
  • Serve with rice, jacket spuds, or crusty bread etc
