Sweet Potato Apple And Pork Packets Recipe
This is a quick and ready to grill meal that is simply delicious.

Ingredients
  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 4 pork boneless smoked chops
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • Dash of ground cinnamon
  • 4 med. green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)

Directions
  1. Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
  2. Cut four 18x12-in. pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Spray with cooking spray.
  4. Place one-fourth of the sweet potato slices on one side of each foil piece.
  5. Sprinkle with salt.
  6. Cut butter into small pieces; sprinkle over sweet potato.
  7. Top with smoked pork chop and apples.
  8. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  9. Fold foil over pork mixture so edges meet.
  10. Seal edges, making tight 1/2-in. fold; fold again.
  11. Allow space on sides for circulation and expansion.
  12. Cover and grill packets 4-5-in. from medium heat 20-22 minutes or until sweet potatoes and apples are tender.
  13. Place packets on plates.
  14. Cut large X across top of each packet; fold back foil.
  15. Sprinkle with onions.
