How to make it

  • place vinegar,apples and peppers in a saucepan
  • boil for +- 15 mins until peppers are soft
  • cool,then add ingredients no.2 liquidize / blend until thick and smooth
  • place about 1 Tabs of cooking oil,in a saucepan heat and add the mustard seeds until it stops spluttering,add the curry leaves
  • pour over the chutney
  • cool and bottle
  • enjoy.......enjoy........enjoy......enjoy........enjoy........enjoy.......enjoy.....with a platter of scrumptious savouries........:]

    Mehti masala/atchaar masala/pickle masala can be bought at shops specializing in indian spices
    I make my own !! i will post a recipe for it today

    Questions: What is "mehti masala"?? I'm from USA so I haven't a clue. Also, what are "curry leaves"?? I've seen curry powder in our grocery stores here, but never "curry leaves". Otherwise, your recipe sounds very tasty.
