Lifeforce Mill Brown Bread

- 1 1/2 C flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 C steel-cut oats Lifeforce or McCann's shopping list
- 1/2 C oatmeal (smae brands if possible) shopping list
- 1 C whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 C buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- 400 oven 9X5 greased loaf pan
- In a large bow, sift together the flour and bakig soda
- Add the oats, oat,meal, whole wheat flour and salt; stir to combine
- Make a well in the center and add the buttermilk
- Stir until a soft dough forms
- Turn into a prepared pan and bake until lightly browned, 40 to 45 minutes.
- Serve with Kerrygold butter

Fantastic Soda Bread! Easy to make and tastes great! I couldn't help myself and added more ingredients ... poppyseeds, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, and raisins. I just used my judgement on the amounts. It did bake up quickly and I pulled my loaf ...more
