Ingredients

1 package of ground beef

1 pachage of Taco seasoning

1/4 cup of water

1 med sized onion

1 Green pepper

1 tbsp cooking oil

6 cups of marble cheese grated

1 can of refried beens

1 cup of flour

1 cup of cornmeal

1 cup of milk

1/4 cup oil

1 egg

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

Directions

To make cornbread batter

In Large bowl Combine cornmeal, flour, salt, and baking powder. Add egg, oil, and milk. Wisk until smooth.

To make the rest

Dice onion and green pepper and saute with cooking oil, set aside. Cook ground beef, and add cooked onions and green peppers. Mix taco seasoning with water and add to ground beef mixture, simmer for 5 min. Add beef mixture to 2.8 litre caserole dish, making an even layer. Spoon refried beens over dish, and spred to make an even layer ( the beens are kinda hard to spred, don't worry if it mixes in with the beef a bit, just try to get the beens all over ). Add the cheese, making and even layer of it. Pour Cornbread batter evenly over dish. Bake for 1/2 and hour or until cornbread is done. like cake, poke it with a toothpick or knife and if it comes out clean then it's done

serve with sourcream and salsa
