I make this with the grandkids every Christmas season! Sometimes we use white chocolate and sometime choc. chocolate, and buy various colored sprinkles or candy crunches to cover this confection-of-sorts. I go to my local shop that sells cake decorat... More

Ingredients
  • 1 package pretzel rods
  • 1 lb. Merckens chocolate
  • colorful sprinkles
  • pretzel rod cellophane bags
  • ribbon
  • parchment paper ( to lay pretzels on after dipping)

Directions
  1. Melt chocolate in a glass bowl in microwave for about 30 seconds.
  2. Stir..
  3. Microwave 30 seconds again.
  4. Stir.again.
  5. Do this until chocolate is melted.
  6. Dip 2/3 of each pretzel rod into chocolate using a plastic fork with two inner tines broken off...this makes it easier.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles.
  8. Lay on parchment paper to dry.
  9. Once dry, wrap in cellophane and tie with ribbon.
