I couldn't believe that the recipe really uses brandy and not a brandy flavoring... you could change the flavor of these cookies by changing the flavor of brandy used.... I haven't made these but they are on my list to try. Read more .. See less

- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups brandy
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped

Ingredients

1 cup butter shopping list
1 cup confectioners sugar shopping list
1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
3 cups flour shopping list
1 1/2 cups brandy shopping list
1 cup pecans, finely chopped shopping list

How to make it

in large bowl.... cream.. butter and both sugars until light and fluffy
in food processor fitted with a steel blade... process the chocolate chips until they are finely chopped
add chocolate , flour, brandy, and pecans to butter mixture
stir until a soft dough forms
drop by a teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet
bake in a preheated 350' oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until light brown
cool completely on a wire rack.
store in an airtight container
yields about 36 cookies

Very interesting recipe Peeta. Luckily I have all those ingredients available to me in China so I will try this out since I sure can't get cookies in China. Thanks.
