How to make it

  • in large bowl.... cream.. butter and both sugars until light and fluffy
  • in food processor fitted with a steel blade... process the chocolate chips until they are finely chopped
  • add chocolate , flour, brandy, and pecans to butter mixture
  • stir until a soft dough forms
  • drop by a teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet
  • bake in a preheated 350' oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until light brown
  • cool completely on a wire rack.
  • store in an airtight container
  • yields about 36 cookies

  • the recipe has no baking powder or soda and no salt....

    Very interesting recipe Peeta. Luckily I have all those ingredients available to me in China so I will try this out since I sure can't get cookies in China. Thanks.
