This is the best, most a traditional banana pudding recipe, passed down through friends and family...not sure where it came from first! It can be made into a lighter version using 2% milk and light cool whip.... Read more but why mess with a good thing?? :-) See less

Ingredients

1 can condensed milk shopping list
2 cups whole milk shopping list
1 pkg (3 ounces) French vanilla instant pudding shopping list
1 carton (12 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed shopping list
1 box vanilla wafers shopping list
4-5 bananas shopping list

How to make it

Mix first 4 ingredients until smooth
Layer wafers, then bananas and part of pudding mixture, repeat
End with pudding on top
Crush a few wafers and crumble over the top
Keep refrigerated
Enjoy!
