- 1 1/2 cups whole-wheat pastry flour (see ingredient note) or whole-wheat flour shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Whisk together all the ingredients
- TIPS:
- Stores nicely in a freezer bag in the freezer for up to 6 months
- Ingredient Note: Whole-wheat pastry flour, lower in protein than whole-wheat flour, has less gluten-forming potential, making it a better choice for tender baked goods. You can find it in the natural foods section of large supermarkets and natural-foods stores. Store in the freezer.
