Macadamia Lemon Bars

- CRUST: shopping list
- 1c. flour shopping list
- 1/4c. confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 1/2c. butter; melted shopping list
- 1/3c. chopped macadamia nuts shopping list
- FILLING: shopping list
- 1c. sugar shopping list
- 2T. flour shopping list
- 1/2t. baking powder shopping list
- 1/4t. salt shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2T. lemon juice shopping list
- 2T. grated lemon zest shopping list
- 1/4c. chopped macadamia nuts shopping list
How to make it
- For crust:
- Combine combine flour, confectioner's sugar & butter. Mix in nuts.
- Press onto bottom of 8" square pan.
- Bake 15-20 min. @ 350F or until lightly browned.
- For Filling:
- Combine the dry ingredients.
- Beat the eggs lemon juice & lemon zest until light & creamy.
- Add dry ingredients to egg mixture and mix well.
- Pour combbine mixture over hot crust.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Bake 10-15 min. or until lightly browned.
- Cool completely.
- Cut into bars and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
