Easy Pepperoni Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1lb frozen bread dough
  • 1T extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2T basil
  • 1/2T dried minced onion flakes
  • 1/2T oregano
  • 1 8oz package sliced pepperoni
  • 1 6oz package mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Directions
  1. Allow bread dough to thaw 8 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Place dough in a large greased bowl and cover with towel and place in warm draft free area and allow to rise until doubled (2-3hrs) Punch down.
  3. On a lightly greased large baking sheet, roll dough into 12x18" rectangle. Brush dough lightly with olive oil; sprinkle with basil, onion flakes and oregano.
  4. Layer with pepperoni to within 1/2" of edge; top with cheese.
  5. Beginning with longest end, roll dough into a thin cylinder and seal seam; glaze with egg
  6. Bake at 350F for 35mins. or until golden.
  7. Cut into bite size pieces to serve.
