Sesame Tilapia With Garlic And Ginger Recipe

This dish brings a slight asian flair to the ever so popular tilapia. Great with a side of spiced up noodles and a cold salad or any green veggie.

Ingredients
  • 6 tilapia filets
  • sesame oil- less than 1/4 cup
  • 3 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 2 TBS fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tsp. fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp.basil
  • large pinch rosemarry
  • kosher salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Directions
  1. mix all ingredients above except the tilapia of course
  2. Coat each filet with marinade
  3. Put in zip lock bag or glass container and cover ( only cover the glass dish not the zip lock bag if that is the route you choose)
  4. Marinade in frige for 30 minutes or so
  5. I used zip lock and i messaged the fllets every few minutes to ensure good coverage
  6. Place filets in baking dish and cover with mairnade and bake i
  7. 350* for about 30 minutes or until fish flakes easy with fork
