Bacardi Rum Chocolate Cake

- 1 18 oz package chocolate cake mix shopping list
- 1 package (4 serving size) instant chocolate pudding shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum shopping list
- 1/4 cup cold water shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup cold milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup Bacardi dark rum shopping list
- 1 package (4 serving size) instant chocolate pudding shopping list
- 1 envelope Dream Whip shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all cake ingredients together in large bowl. Blend well, and then beat at medium mixer speed for 2 minutes. Turn into greased and floured layer cake pans (2, 9 inch). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Do not under bake. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans, finish cooling on racks. Split layers in half horizontally. Spread 1 cup filling between each layer and over top of cake. Stack. Keep cake chilled. Serve cold. Optional: Garnish with chocolate curls.
- Filling: Combine milk, rum, pudding mix and topping mix in deep narrow bottom bowl. Blend well at high speed for 4 minutes, until light and fluffy.
