Not your same ol tuna cassarole, spice it up with some jalepeno flavored chips...its oh so good with a side of cottage cheese and sliced tomatos.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans tuna drained
  • 1 and 3/4 cups small shell pasta cooked al dente
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheese - any kind you like
  • 2 small cans milk
  • 1 small can portabella mushrooms drained
  • 1 small can peas drained
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1/4 to 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp.rosemary
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 cup jalepeno potato chips crushed

Directions
  1. 1. Boil pasta to al dente and drain.
  2. 2. Saute onion and celery in olive oil add minced garlic the last couple of minutes.
  3. 3. In large bowl combine all ingredients except crushed chips
  4. 4. Place in baking dish and cover with crushed chips. Bake 375* for about 30 minutes or untill bubbly throughout.

Mary: I make my tuna casserole like this but I use regular potato chips. What a great idea. I'm even going to throw in some chopped Jalapenos in there. Thanks-SAS
