Grilled Steak Open-faced Sandwiches Recipe
Beef is a meat that can be cooked in so many ways, and this is another example of how versatile beef is! Perfect for lunch or dinner, made either with bread or buns .

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ¼ inch-thick round steak
  • 1 pkg instant meat tenderizer
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp bottled steak sauce
  • 2 tbsp green onion bits
  • 1 ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 6 thick slices of French bread

Directions
  1. Cut the steak into 6 pieces and use tenderizer following the package directions.
  2. Preheat griddle to 400*F….grease lightly.
  3. Grill the meat 2 - 3 minutes per side.
  4. Add pepper to taste.
  5. Make the sauce: combining the next 5 ingredients… heat sauce.
  6. Toast the bread.
  7. To serve:
  8. Pour some sauce onto the toasted bread-top with the steak, spoon on more sauce.
