Best Brownies Since 1994 Recipe
These brownies were given to my cousin in 1994...we won't go back to anything else

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2tsp baking powder
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (softenened)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 packets of Nestle's Choco Bake Pre-Melted unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions
  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Beat in eggs and chocolate
  3. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder.
  4. Beat in dry mixture gradually into wet mixture.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Spray 8x8 pan with Pam.
  7. Bake at 350 for 25 min or until toothpick comes out semi-wet.
  8. Cool in pan for about 5min.
  9. Cool on wire rack.
  10. Enjoy

Other than using cocoa instead of Nestle's Choco Bake, this is the same as my brownie recipe, so I know how good it is! For even more chocolatey goodness, stir in 1/2 C. semisweet chocolate chips before baking - yum!


I followed the recipe exactly and they were delicious. I put a plate of them down in front of 4 guys and they were GONE w/in 10 minutes...THE WHOLE PAN!!!


Awesome brownies! I didn't have any Nestle's Choco Bake, so I just melted three squares of Baker's unsweetened chocolate. I was desperately in need of a chocolate fix and these were the perfect answer! Thanks Cookie!
