How to make it

  • Melt butter and add to crushed Ritz crackers.
  • Mix rice, chicken, soup, poppy seeds, salt, pepper and sour cream.
  • Pour into a deep baking dish.
  • Spread cracker mix on top and bake at 350 for 35-45 minute or until bubbly.
  • Freezes well.

    This is indeed a great recipe for company. I've been making this for quite a few years, but with cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom. Great post.

    Yes,I like the sound of this one a great deal,have not used poppy seed or ritz crackers in my chicken dishes before,my daughter would use this for several of her friends.
