Naples-style Pasta Salad

- 1/2 cup Crisco® Pure canola oil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 3 cups chopped ripe tomatoes shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 pound uncooked pasta shopping list
- Grated romano cheese shopping list
How to make it
- 1.WHISK together oil, vinegar, sugar and oregano. Add garlic, onions, tomatoes and basil. Gently stir to mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
- 2.COOK pasta. Drain. Place cooked pasta in large bowl. Add sauce and mix well. Serve with grated Romano cheese.
