Cheddar Chili Tomatoe Pots

- 6 medium tomatoes shopping list
- 31/2 cups (14ounces) Sargento Dancy Supreme Shredded sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 2 cans (4ounces each) chopped green chilies, well drained shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic shopping list
- 6 tablespoons sour cream shopping list
- 3 green onions, sliced shopping list
- breadsticks for serving shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease 11x7 inch baking dish. Cut 1/2 inch slice from the top of each tomatoe;scoop out pulp and seeds, leaving 1/4 inch shell (save pulp for another use, such as salads or sauces.
- Invert tomatoes on paper towel lined plate; let drain 20 minutes.
- Combine 3 cups cheese,chilies,oregano and garlic in medium bowl
- Using large spoon, stuff tomatoe shells with cheese mixture.
- Arrange tomatoe shells in prepared dish. Bake 20 minutes. Top with sour cream, remainig 1/2 cup cheese and green onions. Serve with breadsticks.
