Ingredients

How to make it

  • Brown chicken in a bit of olive oil or butter, using a large skillet or dutchoven with a lid.
  • You can either leave the chicken whole, or cut into bite size pieces, cover with the chicken broth, adding onion and pepper. Simmer until chicken is cooked through.
  • When chicken is cooked, drop dough by spoonfuls into the broth, cover and cook for 10 minutes, then uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes.
  • That's all there is, super easy.

My momma used this same recipe. She's gone now as of Dec. 2007, but she is still with us! Great post.
