Why work harder than you have to Chicken and Dumplings

- 4 chicken boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders to equal shopping list
- 3 cans Swanson's chicken broth shopping list
- about a tablespoon of instant minced onion shopping list
- about 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- For Dumplings: shopping list
- Bisquick recipe for dumplings, or your favorite biscuit recipe. shopping list
How to make it
- Brown chicken in a bit of olive oil or butter, using a large skillet or dutchoven with a lid.
- You can either leave the chicken whole, or cut into bite size pieces, cover with the chicken broth, adding onion and pepper. Simmer until chicken is cooked through.
- When chicken is cooked, drop dough by spoonfuls into the broth, cover and cook for 10 minutes, then uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes.
- That's all there is, super easy.
