- any flavor pie filling (9 oz. can) shopping list
- 1 (19-0z) can of crushed pineapple with juice shopping list
- 1 box prepared cake mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS: shopping list
- 1 cup coconut flakes and/or 1/2 cup chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Lightly grease desired type of cake pan...
- PLACE THESE INGREDIENTS IN THE PAN IN ORDER GIVEN--- DO NOT MIX.
- 1. bottom layer -- any flavor pie filling (9 oz. can)
- 2. pour over filling 1 (19-0z) can of crushed pineapple with juice
- 3. sprinkle evenly and flavor cake mix you like (1 box prepared cake mix)
- 4. melt 1/2 cup butter -- pour this over the cake mix
- Bake this at 350*F approximately 45 minutes or until nicely browned.
- Cool on rack.
- Serve plain or with ice cream, or whipped cream.

- This recipe was taken from an older cookbook I have, and was so tasty, I thought I would share it with you. :o)
