How to make it

  • Drain sliced peaches, reserving 1 cup syrup. Dissolve gelatin in hot syrup; allow to cool. Add peaches, cottage cheese and pecans. Whip cream to medium consistency; add to gelatin mixture. Pour into a 6-cup serving dish and chill well. Salad will not be firm enough to unmold.
