Bluberry French Toast Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 loaf french bread

1 pkg cream cheese, 8 oz

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

1/4 cup blueberry jam

6 large eggs

1/3 cup maple syrup( I used pancake maple syrup, not 1005%)

1 cup milk

Blueberry syrup

1/2 cup blueberry jam

2 tbs water

1 tbs butter

dash cinnamom

Directions

Cut bread into snmall cubes

place half in buttered deep dish pie pan

cut cream cheese into small cubes and place blueberries with cream cheese over bread

Spread jam on top

cover with the other half of bread cubes

Whisk eggs and syrup and milk

Pour over bread mixture

Chill a few hours or overnight, cover with foil

Preheat oven to 350 and bake with foil cover 30 minutes

Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer or top is golden

Make syrup:

Combine all ingredients in saucepan over medium heat and whisk till bubbly.

Serve the casserole hot with syrup drizzled over top
