Bluberry French Toast Casserole

I am very simple when it comes to cooking. I enjoy looking at all the wonderful recipes I probably will dream of but never make. So I really look but rarely post. We received a gift jar of wild blueberry jam and the wife and I followed directions with the assorted recipes that came with it. Read more This is probably as fancy as I will do stuff. Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread shopping list
- 1 pkg cream cheese, 8 oz shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries shopping list
- 1/4 cup blueberry jam shopping list
- 6 large eggs shopping list
- 1/3 cup maple syrup( I used pancake maple syrup, not 1005%) shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- Blueberry syrup shopping list
- 1/2 cup blueberry jam shopping list
- 2 tbs water shopping list
- 1 tbs butter shopping list
- dash cinnamom shopping list
How to make it
- Cut bread into snmall cubes
- place half in buttered deep dish pie pan
- cut cream cheese into small cubes and place blueberries with cream cheese over bread
- Spread jam on top
- cover with the other half of bread cubes
- Whisk eggs and syrup and milk
- Pour over bread mixture
- Chill a few hours or overnight, cover with foil
- Preheat oven to 350 and bake with foil cover 30 minutes
- Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer or top is golden
- Make syrup:
- Combine all ingredients in saucepan over medium heat and whisk till bubbly.
- Serve the casserole hot with syrup drizzled over top
