Ingredients
  • 1 (12 oz.) box Chex cereal or crispix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips ( I like the milk chocolate)
  • 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions
  1. In a Microwave-safe bowl add butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips
  2. Microwave on high stopping every so often to stir (we don't want to burn the chocolate) this should take about 2-3 minutes
  3. when the mixture is melted add the cereal to the bowl and stir until the cereal is coated.
  4. in a paper bag or large container add cereal mixture and powdered sugar and shake to coat cereal
  5. pour mixture onto wax paper to dry

I can see why the crowd would gravitate towards this yummy treat. (My husband would eat the whole bowl!)

Good Recipe. You got my five. I love puppy chow. I make this for Christmas every year so all the little ones can enjoy. Its funny to see they get so messy from the powder sugar. It makes for great picture taking times with the white all over there faces.
