How to make it

  • mix sugar and cornstarch, add boiling water, stirring constantly. cook for 2 minutes in double boiler. add beaten egg yolks, butter, rind and lemon juice. cook until, fill pie shell and top with meringue. brown top in 300 degree -325 oven
  • a meringue 3 egg whites beat egg whites with a dash of salt
  • until soft peaks form,gradually add marshmellow creme, beat until stiff peaks form.
