How to make it

  • In a large bowl, mix all crust ingredients and press onto a 9" pie plate. Chill for 30 minutes.
  • For the filling, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  • In another bowl, whip cream and fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  • To make the caramel, place sugar and water in saucepan.
  • Cook until the sugar is melted and mixture turns golden brown.
  • Remove from heat and stir in cream.
  • Add butter and let cool.
  • To assemble, place slices of banana on the bottom of crust and sprinkle with walnuts.
  • Pour caramel and chocolate syrup over bananas.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture and top with chopped praline candy.
  • Chill for 3 hours or more before serving.

    Hahaha! I love what Cabincrazyone wrote! He is using the same strategy that my hubby is using, too! However, with this recipe, can't go wrong!

    Sounds yummy! I have a plan. I'm printing this and leaving it on the kitchen counter for my wife to find and fall in love with. We'll have a pie at dinner time just like magic. Ha
