Herbed Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

- 8 loin lamb chops shopping list
- 1 t. chopped garlic shopping list
- 2 t. dried basil shopping list
- 2 t. dried thyme shopping list
- 2 T. fresh rosemary shopping list
- ¼ t. kosher salt shopping list
- ½ t. black pepper shopping list
- 4 T. olive oil shopping list
- 3 shallots, minced shopping list
- ½ c. aged balsamic vinegar shopping list
- ¾ c. chicken broth shopping list
- 2 T. unsalted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Make a paste of garlic, herbs, salt, pepper and 2 T. olive oil. Pat on both sides of chops and allow to sit out of the refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Heat a heavy skillet with 2 T. olive oil. Sear chops on all sides, cover chops and turn heat to medium low. Cook until done. Remove chops and keep warm. Add butter and shallots to skillet and cook until soft. Add vinegar and chicken broth. Continue to cook until sauce is syrupy. Serve chops with sauce.
