Spiced Shrimp

- 2 lbs. large shrimp (21-30 count) peeled and deveined shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. snipped fresh parsley shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. ground coriander shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- Place shrimp in a 1 1/2-qt. casserole. Microwave, covered, at HIGH 5-8 minutes, or until shrimp just turn pink, stirring 2 or 3 times. Do not overcook. Set aside.
- Place butter in a 4 cup measure. Microwave at HIGH until melted. Blend in flour and all the spices. Blend in milk with a wire whisk. Microwave at HIGH 3-6 minutes, or until thick and bubbly, stirring with whisk 2 or3 times. Drain shrimp; stir in sauce. Serve with cocktail picks.
