Chinese Corn With Crab Soup

- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup whole milk shopping list
- 2 Tbl. cornstarch shopping list
- 2 thin slices ginger (about the size of a quarter) shopping list
- 1 tsp. rice wine (dry sherry can be substituted) shopping list
- 2 Tbl. oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup crab meat (or cubed boiled chicken breast) shopping list
- 4 cups chicken stock shopping list
- 1 can (15 oz.) cream style corn shopping list
- 2 egg whites, slightly beaten shopping list
How to make it
- Pour stock into a sauce pan and heat.
- Add the ginger, oil, sherry and salt, and bring to a boil.
- Thin soup to consistency you like with the addition of the milk.
- Serve hot.
