Raspberry Glazed Turkey Tenderlons
From frankieanne 15 years agoIngredients
- 4 turkey breast tenderloins (about 2 pounds) shopping list
- 1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam shopping list
- 1/3 cup raspberry vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 tsp. grated orange peel shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse turkey and pat dry. Set aside.
- In a 2 to 3 quart pan, whisk together the jam, vinegar, mustard, orange peel and thyme. Bring to a boil over high heat; then simmer, stirring, until reduced by about a fourth. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the glaze. Brush some of the remaining glaze over the turkey.
- Set turkey on a rack in a shallow pan (I used a cookie sheet).
- Broil about 4 inches below heat, turning and basting once with remaining glaze until meat in the thickest part is no longer pink. Cut to test (8 to 10 minutes each side).
- To serve, cut across the grain into thin slices and arrange on plates or platter. Spoon remaining glaze over turkey slices.
