Fresh Strawberry Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • Cake:
  • 1 box white cake mix (18 ¼ oz)
  • 1 cup crushed strawberries
  • 1 package strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, room temperature
  • Glaze:
  • ¼ cup butter or margarine
  • 3 ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • ¼ cup strawberry puree

Directions
  1. Combine cake ingredients together in large bowl; mix for 3 minutes. Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan.
  2. Bake a 325°F. degrees for 45-55 minutes or until cake tests done.
  3. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes; remove to serving plate. Combine glaze ingredients and spread over cake. .
