Roasted Garlic and Hot Chili Butter

- 1 1/2 sticks salted butter, softened shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, oven-roasted in their skins until quite soft shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Place the butter in a small bowl.
- Squeeze the cooked garlic cloves from their skins and mash well into the butter, adding the red pepper to taste.
- Add a little salt as necessary.
- Roll into a log on a piece of waxed paper.
- Chill until hard.
- Serve on anything you want to spice up.
- Great on warm, roasted bread.
- Good in soups too.
- I always use herbs-salt and I also would add more garlic then in the recipe.
