All Purpose Flour Or Wheat Halva

- 1 1/2 C All purpose flour shopping list
- 1 C sugar shopping list
- A pinch of food color ( red ) shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 C ghee shopping list
- 5 cardamom , crushed shopping list
- 3/4 C roasted cashew nuts , crushed coarsely shopping list
- 2 C water shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the flour and little water well .
- Add water bit by bit , as less as possible and knead it to make dough .
- Set aside for 45 mins .
- Now add 2 cups of water and mix well
- You will see the milk forming .
- Separate the milk and set aside.
- Slowly thicker version of milk will settle at the bottom .
- Get rid of the thin milk which floats on top .
- In a heavy bottom pan , add the milk, sugar and food color
- Stir until it starts to thicken .
- Add the ghee bit by bit , while stirring all the time .
- Continue stirring .
- Once the ghee separates from halva , add the cardamom powder and the nuts .
- Pour on a tray and cool it abit .
- Cut into pieces .
