Ingredients

How to make it

  • After browning the breast, and breast is in the cooker,
  • throw in the fresh vegetables
  • sprinkle while rubbing the herbs in your hands, on top of the breast.
  • Add all the wet stuff: spicy v8 , the tomatoes , maybe chicken broth, maybe water. Just make sure you are meeting the liquid requirements of your pressure cooker.
  • Close the lid, and wait until the pressure is high enough to Rock the Regulator.
  • Time starts when regulator is rocking continuously. After 18 mins.
  • Remove from heat. When pressure has dropped, and lid can be opened,
  • Wrap your deli style turkey breast tightly in saran and refrigerate.
  • Enjoy!

This recipe sounds great! I never would have thought of using spicy V8 as liquid when cooking a bird-just brilliant on your part. Thanks for comment on the Ultimate Monkey Bread on my page. Happy cooking!

I am really not sure how to replace. kfc uses the pressurized cooking method in their chix. albeit dripping in fat!

I love my pressure cooker. Paid $100. about 20 yrs ago at Macy's. Watch for a sale. My T-Fal brand is stainless steel. Excellent quality.
The thick bottom is great for making soups using top of stove heat, not pressurecooking. My husband just used it to fry his self-caught fish!

Hopefully some one else can advise you. I'm clueless!!

    Hello...
I really like this recipe...especially the use of
    'Spicy V/8 Juice'...however, I do not have a
pressure cooker..would you advise me on what I can use instead, just a different way to cook the turkey breast?
    Thank-you...
