Mulled Cider

Sometimes I like this better than hot cocoa on a cold winter day.
Ingredients
- 1/2 gal apple cider shopping list
- 1 Tbs whole allspice shopping list
- 1 Tbs whole clove shopping list
- 8 cinnamon sticks shopping list
How to make it
- In a 3 quart sauce pan, heat cider and spices except cinnamon sticks to boiling. Turn down and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place cinnamon sticks into mugs.
- Strain hot cider into mugs and serve.
- ~@~
- A little whipped cream is a nice addition to this.
