How to make it

  • Melt caramels with 1/3 c. evaporated milk in top of double boiler. Set aside.
  • Combine dry cake mix with butter and evaported milk.
  • Spread 1/2 of batter in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 6-8 minutes at 350. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans; drizzle with caramel. Pour on remaining batter and spread to edge using fingers.
  • Return to oven for 15 minutes or until done.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
