My best friend alway brings this to our gatherings.. She has changed it out with many diffrent toppings and cookies.. Try Oreo's Nutter Butter and the new Cheese Cake.. So far we like them all.. After all it is dessert!

Ingredients
  • 1 package (18 ounces) cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed, divided
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted, you might need a little more for some types of cookies
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened not melted
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) hot fudge ice cream topping, warmed. If you are using Nutter Butter, try adding a couple big tablespoons in while you are melting the sauce.
  • 1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • I bag coconut
  • Nuts of your choice to top
  • maraschino cherrys.. we half them

Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine 3-3/4 cups cookie crumbs and butter.
  2. Press into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. dish.
  3. Spread with ice cream; cover and freeze until set.
  4. Drizzle fudge topping over ice cream; cover and freeze until set. Spread with whipped topping; sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
  5. Add the coconut
  6. Add the nuts
  7. Add the maraschino cherrys
  8. Cover and freeze for 2 hours or until firm.
  9. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Stand back and watch it vanish before your eyes!
