How to make it

  • Cut onion, green pepper and jalapeño to desired size
  • Cook the above ingredients in oil until soft
  • Add garlic, spice and tomato
  • Mix tomato paste and water until mixture is the consistency of thick tomato soup letting the veggie and spice mixture cook while doing so
  • Add tomato paste to mixture
  • Let cook a few minutes until mixture thickens
  • Add whole can of beans (no need to drain)
  • Once again let cook until mixture thickens
  • Serve with warm pita
