How to make it

  • Spray or rub grill with oil.
  • Cut eggplants lengthwise and score each on cut side a few times with sharp knife.
  • Combine remaining ingredients then coat eggplant and marinate at room temperature 2 hours.
  • Grill eggplants over medium high heat 5 minutes per side then serve immediately.

    Great recipe. Forgot wine at store and substituted rice vinegar instead and left out hoisin - not a fan. It turned out great. Also, used thai chili paste and a couple chopped chiles - cuz I like it that way. Thanks for sharing.
