How to make it

  • Brown onions and sausage in olive oil.
  • When sausage and onions are browned add water.
  • Add lima beans, butter and spices then mix well.
  • Bring to boil then reduce heat to medium.
  • Add water as needed to prevent burning.
  • Continue to cook until beans are tender.
